On my Honor...

Today Morgan got her first patches at Daisey's. It was for memorizing the girl scout promise!! She was the first one in her troop to learn it and she is usually the promise leader at troop meetings. She loves it they made macaroni necklaces and hearts in a bag trade for the cookie carnival on Saturday.

These are all the girls after they got their patches!

My girls are feeling better...

I finally have my girls back!! After a week of being sick my playful little girls are back!! We had a little fashion show today. Morgan and Hailey both dressed up and we took tons of pics and had a blast!
I particularly love Hailey's outfit!
LOL the footsie pajamas with the black shoes are very stylish you know!! LOL
My Morgan wow she is such a poser!!!

I love these girls they are the light of my life!

Today was my first day back at work after the whole sick epesode! And even though at times I wanted to pull my hair out being locked in my house for 6 days with 2 sick crying babies the best thing I did all day was come home to my girls and see their smiling faces!! Morgan was giving me her "special hugs" the ones where she runs from the front door to me on the couch and jumps into my arms to see if she can knock me down!! I love it! XOXO

Hailey is a little better today...

Well I took Hailey to see Dr. Downey today she is still not feeling very well. She had developed a rash from the antibiotic that the stupid ER doc gave her, I knew I should not have given it to her. I knew that she had a viral infection and that a antibiotic was not going to do squat! Next time I will listen to my mommy instincts! Downey said I need to be careful that it does not develop into pneumonia or RSV but other than that just keep doing what I am doing and make she I keep her hydrated. Oh he also said its OK if he is not eating as long as she is drinking. So I will keep an eye on her for today and tomorrow then back to work on Wednesday! She is eating a little more today and I have been able to get milk in her using a syringe, which I never would have thought of but I checked for advice on a mommy message board and it really works! The only thing that I am still worried about is that she is still sleeping like 20 hours. I woke her up this morning at 8:00am to go to the doc and she was back asleep as soon as we got home at 9:30am and was sleeping all day till I woke her up at 3:30pm. She ate mac and cheese and milk and played for a little bit but mostly just cried so I put her back down at 5:20pm and she is passed out without even a whimper! I guess the sickness is just draining her!

My poor little Hailey Bailey...

My poor little Hailey Bailey has been sick for 5 days now. It started on 12/31 she woke up with a dangerously high fever. My thermometer said it was only 101.8 but I could feel that she was burning up. After pacing and trying to figure out if I should call in sick or not, it was New Years Eve and that would be a write up at work, but then I decided that there was no way I could shuffle off my little one to a friends house with that fever and not feeling well. So I called in sick to work and off to Quick Care we went. Surprisingly enough the wait was only a half an hour! The triage nurse took her pulse ox which was 97 (THANK GOD) and then her temp which was 103.3! She was on fire!! My poor baby, and she was still being so good! We were playing and giggling in the waiting room. The doc gave her a dose of motrin and prescribed an antibiotic to hopefully prevent an ear infection. Then off we went only to get home to Morgan who had a 102 fever! Great now 2 sick kids!!! Morgan was OK not too cranky just stuffy and all sick eye (that's what I call her when she gets sick because she gets these really dark circles and droopy eyes, she looks pitiful my poor baby) I gave her some motrin and she just rested. Hailey on the other hand only seems to get worse. She has been sleeping almost 20 hours a day and I can only get her to eat yogurt and applesauce. She wont even drink milk or juice. I am worried that she is not getting any better and she is getting dehydrated now. I called in again tomorrow and we will go see Dr. Downy first thing in the morning, I hope my poor baby does not have RSV :(

I'll just hold on like this...

Today Morgan and James had daddy daughter night and went to the movies to see Bedtime Stories. In the middle of the movie Morgan got thirsty and looking at her daddy with those "ppplleeeaassee daddy" eyes, she wanted a drink. She let him know that she would stay in the seats and let him know what happened in the movie while he was gone so he wouldn't miss anything. James let her know that he could not leave her in the theater by herself because "what if a bad person came and wanted to take her?" Without missing a beat Morgan flings her arms across the seat next to her and says "That's OK daddy I will just hold on like this". LOL This girl is crazy or maybe she is just a mini me! She is 6 going on 22 she cracks me up!
